The scam call ends before your parents ever hear it.

Every unknown caller gets one of three outcomes.
The pharmacy gets through
ScreenDoor confirms who is calling, then bridges the call to your parent and announces the caller by name.
The unsure caller leaves a message
Nothing is ever silently dropped. ScreenDoor takes a message, sends you the transcript, and you approve the number with one tap.
The scammer gets hung up on
The call ends before your parent hears a word of it. You get a text with the recording, the scam type, and a risk score.
AI made convincing scams cheap. Your parents are the target market.
Cloned grandchild voices, fluent scripts, robocalls at scale. Carrier spam labels get ignored, blocking apps assume smartphone fluency, and banks step in only after the money is gone. Nothing listens to what a caller actually says. That conversation is exactly where ScreenDoor sits.
Lost to fraud in the US in 2024, reported to the FTC. That is a 25% jump in a single year.
Lost by older adults each year, per the FBI's IC3 elder fraud report. The real figure is higher, because shame keeps most victims quiet.
Median loss for a victim over 80, the highest of any age group, and four times the median for someone in their twenties.
How ScreenDoor answers for your parent
No app on your parent's phone. A ten-minute setup by you, from their kitchen table or from three states away.
You set it up once
Ten minutes in their carrier settings: unknown callers go quiet and forward to ScreenDoor. Nothing is installed on their phone.
Missed calls stop vanishing
If Mom can't pick up, ScreenDoor takes the message. You both get the transcript, and nothing gets lost in voicemail again.
Strangers get screened
ScreenDoor answers naturally, discloses the recording, and reads the caller's intent while they are still talking.
You get the report
Every screened call is transcribed, classified, and logged. High-risk intercepts text you the moment they happen.
The Callback Rule
Anyone claiming to be a bank, the IRS, or Medicare is never connected. Ever. ScreenDoor takes a message and tells your parent to call the official number on the back of their card.
Real banks don't mind. Scammers can't survive it.
- "I'm calling from your bank's fraud department." Never connected
- "This is the IRS regarding your unpaid balance." Never connected
- "Medicare needs to verify your number." Never connected
- "It's Dr. Patel's office about Thursday." Put through
A screen door, not a wall.
Real callers get through. ScreenDoor dials your parent back from its saved number, says who is waiting, and connects the call.
Scam Check, saved in her contacts.
One number for anything suspicious. Your parent forwards the strange text, or reads the letter out loud, and gets a plain answer back in seconds.
You see everything, in one weekly digest.
Every screened call, recording, and verdict lands in one feed. Friday morning, ScreenDoor sends you the week. Here is what one looks like.
calls screened
scams blocked
messages taken
real calls missed
Protection that takes nothing away
Her phone stays her phone.
No new device, no app, no learning curve. If your parent can answer a call today, they are covered tomorrow. ScreenDoor stays invisible to them and is managed entirely by you.
No call silently disappears.
A blocked doctor's office is worse than a missed scam. Uncertain calls get a message taken and transcribed, never dropped. Approve a number once and it rings through forever.
You get the alerts. They keep their dignity.
ScreenDoor reports to you, quietly. It never lectures them, quizzes them, or treats them like the problem. To them, the scam calls simply stopped.

Common questions
Does my mom have to agree to this?
Yes. Setup ends with ScreenDoor calling her, introducing itself, and asking her permission. We don't activate the line without it. She can also ask us to switch it off at any time, without going through you.
Does anything get installed on my parent's phone?
No. ScreenDoor works through standard carrier call forwarding, set up once by you in about ten minutes. Their phone, their number, and their habits stay exactly the same.
What happens when the doctor's office calls?
ScreenDoor answers, confirms who is calling, and bridges the call straight through with an announcement. If it cannot verify the caller, it takes a message, texts the transcript to you and them, and you can approve the number with one tap.
What about 911 and outgoing calls?
ScreenDoor only screens incoming calls from unknown numbers. Outgoing calls, including 911, are never touched or routed through ScreenDoor.
Is recording these calls legal?
Every screened call opens with a clear disclosure that an AI assistant is answering and the call may be recorded. Recordings are encrypted, kept for 90 days by default, and your family can delete them anytime.
Can I use ScreenDoor on my own phone?
Yes, it works the same way on any line, and the alerts come to you instead of a family member. The pilot and the setup guide are written for adult children protecting a parent, so that is who we are enrolling first.
Does it work on landlines?
Yes, on most carriers. Landline support uses the same call-forwarding codes as mobile. We confirm your parent's carrier during onboarding, before you commit to anything.
Stop worrying about every unknown number.
ScreenDoor is enrolling its first 30 to 50 families, free, starting in North Texas. Your parents get protection now. You help us tune it.
Pilot spots are limited and offered in order of signup.
